Capture Balls turn a dragon sighting into a catch attempt. Current Catch Dragons To Defend walkthroughs report a tier ladder that includes Basic, Advanced, Elite, Supreme, Apex, and Master balls. If the interface displays no chance, use the current item descriptions and a conservative stop rule. Do not infer strength from color alone. A ball with a prestigious name is still consumable stock whose effect must be shown by the client.
Buy in batches with a purpose
Before buying, name the next target and estimate how many attempts you can afford. Carry more than one suitable ball into a timed hunt, but keep a reserve for normal progression. Buying every tier at once locks coins into unused inventory.

Handle repeated failures
After every break-free result, check whether the ball was consumed, whether the selected tier stayed the same, and whether the target or timer remains active. Do not press through the animation. A mobile inventory can shift selection after a tap or scroll.

Protect premium stock
Reserve the highest verified tiers for rare targets, difficult forms, or time-limited opportunities. Establish income with ordinary catches and use pen upgrades to turn them into progress. A failed rare hunt is less damaging when the active loop still works and basic stock remains.
Do not activate a luck-related item until the current UI explains what it changes. A potion may affect a player stat, the displayed chance, or another system. Testing it on a named target with the same selected ball gives a clearer result than consuming it in the hub.

- Using premium stock on an ordinary target with a good Basic chance.
- Repeating a poor chance until the entire stack is gone.
